Big Rush Cast
Big Rush Cast is one of those games I opened expecting to close in five minutes, and then looked up an hour later. The idea is simple: you flick your line into the water, wait for the tension bar to fill, and tap at the right moment to reel in. What sounds basic gets surprisingly tense once the bigger fish start pulling back and testing your rhythm. Controls are all one-handed, which is the main reason it works so well on the go. You drag to aim your cast, release to throw, and tap to reel. There's a nice weight to each catch, and the little haptic buzz when a big fish hooks on is genuinely satisfying. The difficulty ramps up gently, so you never feel cheated when you lose a catch. We ran it on a mid-range phone and it stayed cool and light on the battery, mostly because the scenes are calm and the frame rate is steady rather than flashy. If you want a game to chip away at in short bursts, this is an easy recommendation.
