Tideborne Command

★★★★☆ 4.2 Editor rating

Tideborne Command asks you to think a few turns ahead, which is unusual for a mobile strategy game that also wants to be pick-up-and-play. You plan fleet routes, guard supply lines, and react when storms scatter your ships. Losing a convoy actually stings because rebuilding takes real planning. The pinch-and-drag map controls are smooth, and orders are given with clear taps rather than fiddly gestures. There's a helpful pause-and-plan mode so you're never rushed into a bad call. This one does lean on your battery during big battles, and the phone got noticeably warm in longer skirmishes. Dropping the map detail slider a notch smoothed things out.
